Our tracking, mixing, and mastering equipment is carefully integrated to provide the utmost clarity, definition and above all, musicality.  It starts with your music and the EARS of the engineer - a true partnership!

"Well, after recording several solo and group albums with Andrew, (The Drummstick 2, The Unidentified Flying Quartet with Robert Anbian, K2, Live! with Edo Castro, Quantum and True Fire with John Wubbenhorst), I'm excited to get back into Studio 401 with some upcoming projects. Andrew is a joy to work with, and being a fellow drummer and percussionist, he knows how to dial in the sounds I'm looking for effortlessly, be they acoustic or electronic. Needless to say, his arsenal of plug-ins and outboard are also on the cutting edge and his approach is always fresh..."

Drummer & Percussionist Josh Jones is recognized internationally from his touring and recording with such Jazz greats as Don Cherry, Steve Coleman, Omar Sosa, Yosvany Terry, and Jacqui Naylor. His recent recording projects include “Then and Now” with Blue Note recording artist Benny Green, as well as a project with Cuban royalty Chuchito Valdes.
